"A successful training program should always focus on the most relevant issues and this can be achieved only through a continuous and unbiased interaction with the marketplace. Training should make a measurable difference for those who participate and the banks they represent; it should constitute the beginning and not the end of a relationship, and it should set new and higher standards for the benefit of all." ...(Securities Web).

Trying to understand and soundly practice LCs by studying definitions or enrolling in an online E-Course is much like trying to learn to swim by reading an instruction manual. General LCs training courses, whether online or in-house, are definitely ineffective, and so are legal and risk management courses when given to practitioners; formal analysis, handouts, books and e-courses make sense only once the practitioners have long practical experience.

Because it is subject to a wide range of rules and internal regulations, and because it is a vast terrain in itself, LCs operations are mighty complex. As such, availing bankers of an effective practical training that would convey to them those skills they need to avoid operational mistakes is also a difficult task. For that reason, it took us over 5 full years to develop our in-house Practical LCs training program. This specialized course represents the ideal means to teach practitioners how to master the art of checking documents, issuance of import LCs, advising export LCs and reimbursing merchants.
